Attorney Kristen "Kris" E. Lehker
Attorney Kristen Lehker joined the firm in 1997. She currently does appellate work, primarily in the areas of family law, and habeas corpus. Kris has practiced law for more than twenty years, and is licensed in Michigan and Illinois as well as Wisconsin. In addition to private practice in Chicago and Madison, Kris has worked for Legal Aid of Western Michigan and the Cook County Public Guardian.
Kris attended Cuttington University College in Liberia, and received her bachelor of arts degree from Kalamazoo College. She graduated with honors from Boston University School of Law, where she won the school's moot court competition and assisted visiting professor and former Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg.
